Jeanette Cesta, Executive Director of VWD Connect Foundation, is a national education consultant for the bleeding disorder community, focusing on Von Willebrand Disease and women with bleeding disorders. Jeanette has been speaking nationally since 2010 presenting at medical conventions, Hemophilia Treatment Centers, and national and local bleeding disorder conferences throughout the U.S. She presented at the 2014
NHF VWD Summit in Washington D.C. and is a member of the NHF VWD Task Force. She chairs the Women with VWD working group for the ATHN National Hemophilia Program Coordinating Center. She received the NHF 2015 Volunteer of the year award and 2016 New York City Hemophilia Chapter Award of Distinction. She has displayed research posters at multiple World Federation of Hemophilia Congresses and other national conferences. She and her family are active members of the Florida Hemophilia Association. Jeanette received her Bachelor of Science from Suffolk University, Boston, MA.
