Ed Kuebler

Edward Kuebler, MSW, LLC, worked with the University of Texas Gulf States Hemophilia and Thrombophilia Treatment Center, Houston, Texas USA as a Social Worker for 20 years and has worked in the bleeding disorders community for 27 years. Ed is a graduate of the University of Houston, Master of Social Work Graduate Program. Ed coordinates the international bleeding disorders Advocacy Leadership Programs which include program founder and Director for Step Up Reach Out (SURO) an International Leadership Program, Latin America SURO Program (SURO LatAm) and the international AFFIRM Program (A Fellowship For
Integrating Responsible Mentors). Ed is one of the co-founders of Frankly.net (an international on-line magazine) and Speaking Frankly Booklets. Ed Kuebler has presented at the World Federation Hemophilia (WFH) from 2006 through 2020. He has presented at National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Annual Conferences for the last 20 years. He has published several articles in HemAware Magazine, US, co-author of a children’s Von Willebrand Disease book – Rafting Rescue: An Adventure at Camp Cascade and has WFH Poster Presentations accepted for the
World Federation of Hemophilia Conference from 2000 through 2020. He received the National Hemophilia Foundation’s Social Worker of the Year Award 2007. Ed is a retired Chair and member of the World Federation of Hemophilia Psychosocial Committee
