Alice Arapshian

Alice Arapshian Profile

Alice Arapshian is a member of the VWD Connect Foundation, has served as a patient representative on the VCF Board of Directors, and is currently the co-Principal Investigator of the foundation’s Patient Registry Subcommittee. Alice has Type 3 VWD and has been attending the annual conference since 2017.

Alice obtained a B.S degree in Biochemistry from Queens College CUNY and worked as a research scientist at a breast cancer lab at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. She later changed career paths to computer programming and obtained a Continuing Education Degree from Columbia University. She has extensive experience in software and database development as well as project management using agile/scrum methodologies.

Alice currently works as a Senior Project Manager at HelpMeSee, a non-profit company that develops simulators and provides training for Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery. She has always strived to combine both her career paths of science and software development with a focus in the non-profit sector. Alice grew up in New York City, where she currently resides, and
has always enjoyed taking time out to explore the city and its cultural events.
